I have spent enough at city chic to be treated better. Return policy is abysmal... not worth sending back... will sell on FB market... I am disappointed. Will only shop thru Penningtons. Their customer service and return policies are amazing... I gave them a 2 star because I really like the styles... but it is not worth it for me in Canada!

I made an order then realized I needed to cancel the Oder because it was incorrect. They wouldn't cancel it for me after a couple hrs of ordering. They sent the pkg off then rerouted back to themselves but still no refund. I start a complaint with my bank and they have contacted them to refund. Still nothing after 2 weeks. I call them and they say if I don't drop dispute with bank it will effect my refund. It was a $400 order. I'm am not dropping dispute because they have not refunded my money. They do everything not to refund.

I've had several instances of packages not arriving from this company or taking forever. WARNING: they do not refund for lost packages. So, even if you order a dress for an event like a wedding/gala and the package never shows up, the best you'll get is a credit. Then if you raise it with customer service, you get completely shut out. They offer zero customer service. The quality of the clothing is a mixed bag, some of it is lovely and some is mediocre. Some of my favourite dresses are from here, but it's not worth the risk of the missing/severely delayed packages and knowing I won't get a refund if something goes wrong.

My first order on this website and loved all the products, was great to have some pretty lingerie for bigger sizes.
Two of the bras were surprisingly big though so needed to return.
Unless you can return to a store ( I am in the South Island of New Zealand and they are only in Christchurch) so I have the choice to drive 5hrs or courier them tracked to Australia costing $65! The bras were on special $40 each so not worth doing it for the difference of $15 refund.
When I wrote an email asking if I could return them to the Auckland warehouse the package came from, I was told they don't have one and they were sorry I'd have to drive 5hrs to nearest store.
It's a shame as lovely lingerie, but I won't risk ordering again in case I'd need to return.
I order a lot on line and have always had an option to return to a NZ address or postage is covered.
Time for City Chic to get with the program... welcome to 2022

Horrible company, never get your clothing and customer service LIES; I am in Canada and asked them where my order was i. E. still in the U.S. or has it travelled across the border yet and was ASSURED it was in Canada en route to me. I DOUBLE asked 'Please confirm it is on the Canadian side' and was told yes again. Just got an update from DHL, the company they used for deliveries, that is was in Illinois today. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This company is a scam!

City Chic has the best customer service. I never got an email on when my item was shipping with a tracking number, I emailed their customer service line, received a reply within 5 min with my tracking number and $20 off my next purchase. I will forever shop at City Chic!

Please beware that if an order gets lost that you will not get a refund. I found this out after I never received an order. They offered a gift card but with no product received this was not the solution I was looking for (or anyone else for that matter). I understand with smaller companies that they may not have the insurance to cover list items, but with city chic in other stores like Nordstrom they should be able to resolve this. If I do buy from city chic again I will not be buying from their website. I’ll go through a different vendor with better customer service and appropriate workflows.

I am attempting to return $460 worth of merchandise that does not fit, and have no way of tracking the process. I've been locked out of my customer account and get no replies from customer support when I ask about this issue. The only place they reply to me is on PayPal because I tried to get my money back via there. This really is unprofessional when compared to other online retailers and the "easy returns" they advertise on their website proudly are anything but easy. This has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

Placed an order for dresses 20 days before they were needed as their shipping page indicated they use FEDEX and would take 7-10 business days for delivery. My order is now reflecting that it will take 4 weeks to get to me, meaning I will no longer have use for the dresses as my event would have already passed. When I contacted customer service, I was told that shipping to Hawaii takes much longer - even though that is indicated nowhere on their website. I have also placed numerous orders with them in the past and received them within a week. The kicker is that I'll need to return all items from my order as I'll no longer have use for them and I'm still subject to the return shipping fee for an error that isn't even my own. All I was offered was their apologies. I will not be ordering from City Chic again. Really disappointing.

I love city chic's selection and was delighted when I discovered them. However, if something goes wrong with your order, don't expect them to make it right. My order never arrived (I have to pay for shipping because I'm in Canada) and the customer service was appalling. It took them almost a full month to deal with. First they advise they'll arrange for a replacement package (great!), then they advise they're out of stock, then they advise they won't provide a refund and will only provide gift cards. I feel completely ripped off and it seems like they are making their poor logistics systems customers' problems and I'm out of pocket more than $350 (Canadian).

While I like their product, there is no way I will endorse them.
